personal space of Australia
Personal Speach of Australia
With a total area of 7.69 million square kilometers, Australia is the largest country in the world - but also an ordinary continent
Australia is also the only continent consisting of one country. Sometimes Australia is also called the "island" continent, because it slides by the ocean. The people of Australia has a personal space, such as:
- In Australia there is one way if you want to greet someone that is by shaking hands while saying 'good day, mate!'
- If in foreign countries they often call as Mr or Mrs, it is different in Australia you only need to call them by their first name.
- In Australia, they do not receive any gifts, if they help others. as stated on a pamphlet. it's different in Indonesia. this happens because Australia is a prosperous country
- In Australia, the rules are very strong even if we make a small mistake if you are there and violate a rule you just about it and then pay the penalty if you not will be legally processed.
- If in a country of Indonesia a pedestrian is very complicated if you want to cross, you think have to use your hands as a signal for the driver to stop but otherwise you don't need such a thing in Australia because the drivers in there are highly regulated in traffic regulations.
- The index and middle finger or (V-shaped hand) signal maybe just normal but don't try to do it when visiting Australia because the gesture considered vulgar.
- The dynamics are very inherent in Australia, so don't try to not wait in line.
- Bargaining activities don't apply in Australian.
Note: each country has its own peculiarities which may not be understood by other cultures. but these things make culture unique😊.
